Three weekends over the end of August and beginning of September saw the Portishead WASP (wheels and skate park) committee organise a pop up skate event in three different locations in Portishead.
Portishead Town Council and Sk8 or Die funded the new equipment which is now available to use at other events in town in the future.
The event was not only there to give the kids and grownups something to do but to also engage with the locals about where they would like to see a permanent wheels and skate facility built and what they would want to see there.
Please get in touch with either Sk8 or Die or the WASP committee if you would like to use the equipment at an event you’re organising.
