Foundation skateboards is a skateboarding company that produces decks, clothing, accessories, and skate videos. They celebrated their twenty-third year anniversary in June of 2012.
History
Created in 1989, Foundation is owned by the Tum Yeto distribution company. They are the sister company of well known brand Toy Machine. Foundation created the world’s largest skateboard, and were written into the Guinness World Records book on October 4th, 2004. The ten foot long, four foot wide, and three foot tall board made an appearance on the TV show Ripley’s Believe It or Not soon afterward. Though you won’t get your own ten foot board from Foundation, they have an extensive line of skateboards and apparel to choose from! Foundation skateboard decks are made of durable 7 ply maple, and feature a large variety of colorful, cartoon graphics such as animals, people, monsters, and cars. With a hand drawn look, these decks are unlike any other! If you hate the thought of building a board, Foundation has you covered. Pre-assembled and ready to ride, Foundation complete skateboards come equipped with a deck, trucks, wheels, bearings, hardware, and grip tape. Their skateboards are great for any skill level, catering to beginners and pros alike. Make sure to check out their line of tees! Wear your Foundation skateboard t-shirts while boarding or on lazy weekends. If you love stickers, Foundation has plenty to choose from. Foundation skateboard stickers come in singles. Stick them to your skateboard deck, backpack, notebook, and more!
If you’re ready to create unforgettable skating experiences, choose Foundation. You will not be disappointed with their high performance gear!
